Empowering Diverse Learners Through Innovative Tutoring & Technology Integration

Hi, I’m Sean Andrews, an educator and technology integration specialist dedicated to transforming learning experiences. My passion for helping diverse learners—especially those with learning differences—drives my commitment to personalized, multisensory instruction.

My Journey

  • Curiosity & Early Ambitions:
From my early days as a film production intern at Capital News 9 and a snowboard instructor—where I discovered the joy of teaching—I learned to tailor lessons to each student’s needs. These experiences sparked my lifelong passion for technology and innovative learning

  • A Shift to Education & Technology:
Motivated by the potential of digital tools, I earned a Master of Arts in Learning and Emerging Technologies and published a thesis on “Digital Resources for Teaching Students with Dyslexia.” This experience fueled my passion for integrating technology and universal design in education.

  • Building a Legacy:
As a certified Orton-Gillingham tutor and Assistive Technology Coordinator at The Kildonan School, I developed multisensory strategies for dyslexia support. Later, as Director of Technology at a leading K-12 Institution in Brooklyn, NY, and now at one of the top schools in Minnesota, I’ve led initiatives that merge innovation with hands-on learning.

Over 15 years of experience in Orton-Gillingham tutoring, dyslexia support, assistive technologies, and educational innovation

A colorful classroom corner decorated with educational materials and artwork. A tree made of brown paper with a bright yellow paper sun on a blue background. Alphabet letters displayed on a board with multicolored magnets. Several educational posters feature drawings and letters, and a plush toy lies on a white shelf. Various cut-out images and decorations create a child-friendly and engaging learning environment.

The tech classes transformed my understanding of computer science. Fun, innovative, and very helpful!

A teacher is engaging with a group of students sitting at a desk. The students are dressed in matching attire and wearing traditional headwear. They appear focused on their studies as they interact with the teacher. Books are open in front of them, and shelves filled with books are visible in the background.
